SINGLE USER / STAND ALONE SERVER INSTRUCTIONS
Click on the link below to begin downloading the update. Save the file Webupdate(version#).exe to your hard drive (note where you save the file). From the PawnMaster Server, locate the file and double click it to begin the install process. Once it has completed, reboot your system.
MULTI-USER INSTRUCTIONS
*Do not run this download file at your workstations.
To install the update on the PawnMaster Server, follow the instructions shown above. Once the update is loaded on the Server, you can begin the process of installing the update at each of your workstations by following the steps shown below.
- Go to your workstation.
- Using Network Neighborhood or My Network Places, explore over to your Server’s hard drive.
- Double Click the PawnMaster folder.
- Double Click the Client folder.
- Locate the “Pmclientupdate.exe” file and Double Click it.
- Reboot.
We highly recommend doing this update during Data Age regular business hours due to limited resources available to our afterhours paging service.
PLEASE READ: Please call Data Age prior to installing this update. Due to Microsoft’s latest report writer update included in this version, some custom forms may need adjustments made to the page alignment. Please call so that we can test your forms first. If your current version is less than version 8.01, the update may take more time than usual.
