Tom Streng - President
Tom is President of Data Age Business Systems, a privately held company he co-founded along with Randy Peffly. As President and a member of the Data Age Executive Board of Directors, Tom is responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, including the go-to-market and growth strategies, as well as leading the integration relationships between partner channels and Data Age. He has dedicated twenty years to establishing the company as a leading vendor encompassing multiple markets. Tom has fostered a culture of encouragement and entrepreneurship that has resulted in the creation of a dynamic and professional team ready to address new challenges. He has published works throughout industry journals. He is an avid outdoorsman and has been active in protecting the intercoastal waterways. Tom has a degree in computer science from Central Michigan University.
Randy Peffly - Executive Vice President
Randy has served as Executive Vice President of Data Age Business Systems since he co-founded the company along with Tom Streng. In this capacity, Randy has been responsible for the successful architecture of the Data Age software products, overseeing design, development, and the overall life-cycle management of all applications. He manages all research and quality assurance functions constantly vigilant of standards in the delivery of reliable day to day service, and the ease of use, and scalability of our systems. Randy can be credited with incorporating leading edge technologies into Data Age applications, whether they are biometric finger-printing, optical character recognition, bar-coding, or sophisticated matching routines. Randy has a degree in computer science from Wright State University.
Len Summa - COO
Len joined Data Age Business Systems, Inc. in 2012 and currently serves as its Chief Operations Officer (COO). Len Summa is responsible for creating and leading a world-class sales operation for Data Age. With more than 20 years of experience in the software industry and an impressive record executing growth strategies Len is a welcomed addition to the management team. Len's most recent role was with Persystent Software where he served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Previously, Len served as North American SMB Sales Director at Learn.com. As CESC's Vice President of Sales, Len was instrumental in their becoming Microsoft's largest independent Gold Certified learning solutions partner. Len's accomplishments can also be traced to Ashton Business Solutions and Knowledge Management Software. Len brings a wealth of experience and know-how in delivering software solutions both in the US and abroad. Len Summa is a graduate the University of Syracuse.
Robert Tindal - CIO
Robert joined Data Age Business Systems, Inc. in 2012. Robert brings to Data Age over 18 years of Technical Services experience. During the "Technology Boom" Robert was fortunate enough to have worked for two of the largest and most respected Technology Support companies in the world in IBM and EDS.
Robert has an extensive background in managing and providing Technology Support Services into the markets of Investment Banking, Credit Card Processing, Manufacturing, Government and Medical fields. While working for EDS and IBM Robert helped to develop scalable and flexible systems and strategies to manage and provide Technical Support Services into large companies such as New York Life, Equifax, and Certegy. Later in his carrier Robert applied some of those same service oriented processes to his own Managed Service Provider business, Trusted Technologies LLC, which providing Managed IT services and Business Report Writing services to a very diverse SMB customer base, some of which consisted of DoD Engineering companies, Chemical Engineering companies and Medical device manufacturing companies. Robert's most recent role was with Persystent Software where he served as the Director of Pre-sale Support and Manager of Customer Services. Robert is a former student of DBCC and maintains industry certifications in a variety of Microsoft and 3rd party business solution applications.
Darlene Shinavier - Human Resource Manager
Darlene is our newest addition to Data Age, filling the role of Human Resource Manager. She comes to us with a background in Human Resources/Training and Development with vast knowledge of all Human Resource responsibilities including but not limited to HR operations and policy, recruiting, on-boarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management, training and business partner support. She has acquired extensive experience in retail stores and multi-unit field operations of a mass merchandising company. Most recently she held the role as the HR Director of a dynamic and expanding staffing agency with the responsibility of developing and implementing all HR policy and procedures. Mrs. Shinavier has over 20 years experiences in all facets of Human Resources from entry level to providing field and corporate support. She will be a great asset to us because she is known to be dedicated, people oriented and a strategic business partner, with strengths including employee relations, team building and learning and development.
Ken Walker - Director of Marketing
Ken started at Data Age almost 20 years ago as employee number 4. After several years of learning sales, support, customer service from Tom and Randy, Ken left to form his own Internet Marketing firm. Over the next 16 years Ken would develop internet marketing strategies, websites and SEO campaigns for fortune 500 companies from all over the world. After selling his firm in 2004, Ken became Director of SEO at TrafficStrategies.com, one of the largest lead generation firms in the country. Through another acquisition he found himself at LinkShare, a world leading affiliate marketing firm. While at LinkShare Ken developed SEO and other strategies for some of the top retailers in the world. Some of the clients Ken has worked with include Outback Steakhouse, Brinker International, Closet Maid, Build-a-Bear, Time Warner, Lending Tree, and School of Tomorrow.
